This kitchen takes pride of place in a beautifully designed family home nestled into the rolling Wicklow hills.

It is a modern classic, with traditional in-frame shaker style cabinetry paired with a fresh and on trend, yet timeless colour palette.

The pale tones of the main kitchen cabinets and the large floor tiles have been boldly accompanied by a deep navy blue island. The paintwork on the island has been created as a custom colour for this client, and it has been finished with a distressed look so that any wear and tear as the years go by, will go unnoticed.

Solid oak work surfaces add a cosy, warm and almost farmhouse feel to the kitchen. Brass details also add warmth and contrast.

The kitchen has been hand painted in Farrow & Ball Slaked Lime and a custom made dark navy blue.
